Our Mission
“To excel in providing services to all present and prospective members in a friendly and helpful manner.”
Our Story
Racine Municipal Employees Credit Union was organized in 1953, and chartered by the State of Wisconsin on October 28th that same year. Charter members of our Credit Union included employees from several departments of the City of Racine. They organized the credit union to promote thrift and loan funds to the employees of the City of Racine and their families and also organizations and associations of the City of Racine employees and employees of the Credit Union. Subsequently, other groups were added to our field of membership.
Our office originally was located in City Hall, then to an officers home, and moving to our present location of 1907 Lathrop Avenue in Racine since 1982.
Our objective is to remain member focused and to be run by and for you. Any input you can give will be sincerely appreciated and thoughtfully considered.
If you're not already a member, we invite you to become a member of Racine Municipal Employees Credit Union where we will provide you with all your financial needs while giving you the personal attention and care you deserve from your financial institution.
